Luna came to me from Keri Mercer in Indiana, originally to be a search and rescue dog. She trained in live find air scent, and took the FEMA rubble tests at 6 months and passed, the youngest to date to have done so. She was ineligible to join the FEMA team until she was at least 18 months, so she continued training through Indiana Task Force 1 and certified just over 1 year of age. She had her first litter at the age of 3, and then life took another direction. She lived as a family companion with Daniel for 3 years before being returned to me. I co-owned her to Brooke, and they obtained her CGC, RN, and two legs towards her RA, before going on to have 3 more litters and then be retired back to Daniel in Indiana, where she passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 10.
