Phoebe is from my Twizzle x Charm litter. She is the little girl that stole my heart at 4 weeks old and I knew she was never going to leave. She is stamped strongly by my heart dog Ali, and has a lot of her mannerisms. She is just beginning her show and performance career, and is also my task-trained service dog. So far I haven't found anything she doesn't like, and I expect lots of titles at both ends of her name before we are done. With her amount of brains and biddability, she will do it all, and is the epitome of what I strive for in my litters.
Phoebe is one of the most gentle, laid back girls you will ever come across. She declared herself my SDiT at about 6 weeks old, and there was no looking back. There was never any question of whether she was staying, she made that plain.
She is the last remaining dog in my house that was raised by Taz. She shadowed him, like she knew she had to learn it all and FAST. By the time he was gone when she was only 6 months old, she was already fully tasking, and by 9 months was public access. She was a natural.
As a working service dog, she is matched only by her mother. When she puts her vest on, she is all business. She is very handler focused, while still being environmentally aware, has a fabulous off switch, and is bomb proof in all situations. She is public access, performs OCD behavior disruption, performs DPT for anxiety management, performs body blocking for agoraphobia management, and performs light mobility assistance for balance and brace work.
She has been shown in AKC conformation and has several very nice reserves to majors in extremely limited showing. She is also trained and almost ready to compete for her rally, obedience, and agility novice titles. She has been held back due to a lack of available classes and trials in our previous area, but I am very excited to be back in an area where we can start working on those titles instead of just training for them!🤪
Not only is she beautiful and intelligent, she is calm, handler focused, has an excellent off switch, and she has high food drive with medium toy drive and medium energy. She is extremely praise-driven, and has no problem switching tasks.🤩
When she’s not in work mode, she’s a goofy, silly snuggle bug who prefers to lounge in the bed and trip you on your way to the bathroom. She firmly believes that personal space is overrated! 🤣 Phoebe is incredible with kids, cats, other dogs, she gets along with everything and everyone. 🥰
