Winnie was a surprise singleton, and a huge blessing to me. She is a load of fun and a firecracker to work with!
Winnie has had one lovely litter of puppies, giving us a girl to move forward with, and we are slowly starting to look for a retirement home for her. She would do best in a quieter household. She doesn't love the high energy of a busy party lifestyle or lots of kids running in and out of the house. She would thrive in an experienced home, by herself or with another dog or two to hang out with. She needs an owner who can remain calm, cool and collected. Winnie feeds off of energy, and can overstimulate easily, but she looks to her handler to ground herself and she has a strong focus and desire to please. Winnie is high drive and high energy. She would love a home that would spend time throwing a chukit or a frisbee for her, or taking her for a run or biking.
Winnie does well in public and has excellent leash manners. She can be a little bit of a squirrel and will busily bob her head scanning everything around her. Life is exciting for her! She has a bubbly personality and bonds strongly to her person. She can be slightly protective of her person, but responds well to direction and will settle when asked. Winnie is an excellent house dog, and loves to be wherever her person is. She is one of the best snuggle bugs, and constantly wants to be touching you. She has very good home and crate manners, she has body and spatial awareness, and doesn't slam into things or dive bomb the furniture. She will lay quietly in her crate and loves to have a blanket in there with her.
Winnie will be available with a small rehoming fee to cover the cost of her spay/recovery and transport to her new family. If you think Winnie sounds like she would be a good fit for your home, please reach out! I would love to hear from you.
